Hertfordshire Biz4Biz Awards 2026
We’re Finalists for the Second Year Running!
We’re absolutely delighted to announce that Sunny Kids Shine® has been named a finalist in the Hertfordshire Biz4Biz Awards for the second year running! 🏆✨
The Hertfordshire Biz4Biz Awards recognise businesses and organisations across the county, and we’re incredibly proud to be finalists in three categories:
Best Entrepreneurship, Best Family Business and Best Social Impact.
What makes this recognition particularly special is that the awards begin with public nominations and votes. The highest-performing businesses in each category are then invited to a panel interview, which I had the pleasure of attending two weeks ago. The panel subsequently selects the finalists, with the winners announced at the prestigious awards gala on 27th November 2026, at Tewinbury Farm, Hertfordshire, hosted by Charlotte Hawkins, ITV, Sky News and Classic FM presenter
Being recognised for a second consecutive year means so much, particularly as Sunny Kids Shine® continues to grow its work supporting children, families and professionals with children's mental health, emotional wellbeing and advocacy.
Every nomination, vote, conversation, referral and family who places their trust in Sunny Kids Shine® helps us reach more children who deserve to feel understood, supported and valued for who they are.

Whatever happens on the night, being named a finalist for the second year running is something to celebrate!

Upcoming Community Events
We are looking forward to attending Wheatfields Infants & Nursery School, St Albans (AL4 9NT), Festive Fair on Saturday 5 December, #from 11 am to 2 pm. We will have lots of festive-themed activities for the children to enjoy, making feelings fun!

Our Last Workshop
Let’s Talk About… FRIENDSHIPS
On 20th October 2026, we had the first of our "Let's Talk About..." online workshops, and what a brilliant session it was!
This time we came together to talk all about FRIENDSHIPS, exploring what healthy friendships look like, how to navigate tricky situations that can arise from parents as much as from children, understanding boundaries and helping our children build positive relationships that allow them to SHINE.
One of the best parts? The questions and experiences that attendees brought along!
Creating a safe, supportive space where parents feel comfortable asking questions, exploring their real-life experiences, sharing ideas and having honest conversations about the things that matter most to them. Sometimes, knowing you're not alone and being able to talk openly can make all the difference.

Join Sunny Kids Shine® for an engaging, practical online workshop exploring how we can support our children to understand and navigate their internal feelings volcano, learning to notice, accept, manage and express (NAME) their feelings in healthy ways. Together we will help make BIG feelings child-size!
