Why it works
When feelings have a colour and a friendly face, they become less frightening and much easier to talk about. Using the posters, cards, faces and game together gives children lots of different ways to explore their feelings: looking, pointing, playing and talking. It follows the same approach we use in our Feelings Detective® programme, workshops and school curriculum, helping to make BIG feelings child-sized.
